Goodwillie tower of the norm functor
Nikolai Konovalov

TL;DR
This paper compares fracture squares in equivariant stable homotopy theory with those in the Goodwillie tower for the norm functor, highlighting their similarities and differences.
Contribution
It provides a detailed comparison between two types of fracture squares, advancing understanding of their relationship in homotopy theory.
Findings
Identifies parallels between fracture squares in different contexts
Clarifies the structure of the Goodwillie tower for the norm functor
Enhances the conceptual framework connecting equivariant and Goodwillie calculus
Abstract
In this note we compare the fracture squares from genuine equivariant stable homotopy theory and the fracture squares which appear in the Goodwillie tower for the norm functor.
