TL;DR
This study analyzes annual variations in the half-life values of polonium isotopes, revealing sinusoidal patterns with approximately yearly periods across different laboratories and isotopes.
Contribution
It presents evidence of sinusoidal annual variations in the half-life measurements of $^{214}$Po, $^{213}$Po, and $^{212}$Po, suggesting possible environmental or external influences.
Findings
Half-life values exhibit sinusoidal annual variations.
Variations have similar periods around 370 days.
Amplitude of variations is on the order of 10^{-4}.
Abstract
Results of a comparative analysis of the Po ( s), Po ( s) and Po ( ns) half-life annular variation parameters are presented. It is shown that two independent sequential sets of the Po -values obtained in the spaced laboratories can be described by sinusoidal functions. The sinusoid curve with amplitude , period days, and phase days approximates the set of Po values obtained at BNO INR RAS during the 973 days starting on January 4, 2012. The function approximates a set of -values with a time duration of days obtained at the KhNU has an amplitude , a period days and a phase days.…
