TL;DR
This paper introduces 2+1 dimensional field theories with multiple conformal symmetries acting on a single spatial direction, extending the concept of subsystem scale invariance related to fractons.
Contribution
It constructs novel field theories exhibiting partial conformal symmetries, expanding the understanding of subsystem scale invariance in lower-dimensional systems.
Findings
Field theories with multiple conformal symmetries in 2+1 dimensions.
Extension of subsystem scale invariance concepts.
Potential connections to fracton physics.
Abstract
We construct field theories in dimensions with multiple conformal symmetries acting on only one of the spatial directions. These can be considered a conformal extension to "subsystem scale invariances", borrowing the language often used for fractons.
