TL;DR
This paper investigates the inclusive production of various upsilon states via photoproduction at the CEPC, using NRQCD, highlighting the potential for detailed heavy quarkonium studies at future electron-positron colliders.
Contribution
It provides the first detailed predictions for upsilon photoproduction at the CEPC, including both direct and resolved photon contributions, aiding future experimental and theoretical heavy quarkonium research.
Findings
Significant event rates for upsilon photoproduction at CEPC.
Distributions for different upsilon states are presented.
The study supports future measurements to clarify quarkonium production mechanisms.
Abstract
The inclusive photoproduction at the future Circular-Electron-Positron-Collider (CEPC) is studied based on the non-relativistic QCD (NRQCD). Including the contributions from both direct and resolved photons, we present different distributions for production and the results show there will be considerable events, which means that a well measurements on the photoprodution could be performed to further study on the heavy quarkonium physics at electron-positron collider in addition to hadron colliders. This supplement study is very important to clarify the current situation of the heavy quarkonium production mechanism.
