Exploring non-perturbative Sudakov factor via $Z^0$-boson production in $pp$ collisions
Shu-yi Wei

TL;DR
This paper investigates the non-perturbative Sudakov factor in Z-boson production at low transverse momentum in proton-proton collisions, using three parameterizations and experimental data to extract and analyze free parameters.
Contribution
It introduces a comparative analysis of three parameterizations of the non-perturbative Sudakov factor using experimental data and explores their dependence on collision energy and rapidity.
Findings
Different parameterizations fit the data with varying accuracy.
The free parameters show dependence on collision energy and rapidity.
The study enhances understanding of non-perturbative effects in Z-boson production.
Abstract
-boson production at low transverse momentum offers an unique opportunity to explore the non-perturbative Sudakov factor. In this paper, we employ three parameterizations of the non-perturbative Sudakov factor to calculate the -distribution and compare our results with the ultra precise experimental data. We extract the free parameters in each parameterization with a analysis. The parton-momentum-fraction dependence of these free parameters is also studied by comparing the values extracted at different collision energies and different rapidity ranges.
