TL;DR
This paper investigates the production mechanisms and expected event rates of bottomonium-like $Z_b$ states in various high-energy collision experiments using theoretical models and simulation tools.
Contribution
It provides the first detailed theoretical predictions for $Z_b$ production cross-sections and event rates in electron-ion and ultraperipheral collisions, guiding future experimental searches.
Findings
Total cross-sections reach up to 0.09 nb at 22 GeV energy.
Significant event numbers are expected in EIC and UPC experiments.
Results serve as a reference for future collider searches for $Z_b$ states.
Abstract
The photoproduction of bottomonium-like states and via scattering is studied within an effectiv Lagrangian approach and the vector-meson-dominance model. The Regge model is employed to calculate the photoproduction of states via -channel with exchange. The numerical results show that the values of the total cross-sections of and can reach 0.09 nb and 0.02 nb, respectively, near the center of mass energy of 22 GeV. The experimental measurements and studies on the photoproduction of states near energy region around GeV is suggested. Moreover, with the help of eSTARlight and STARlight programs, one obtains the cross-sections and event numbers of production in electron-ion collision (EIC) and Ultraperipheral collisions (UPCs). The results show that a considerable number…
