TL;DR
This paper introduces a novel carrier phase recovery method for tight time-packing optical communication systems, achieving significant OSNR improvements under phase noise conditions.
Contribution
The paper presents a new scheme combining polybinary transformation and corrected-BPS for enhanced noise compensation in PDM-FTN-QPSK systems with high acceleration.
Findings
3.3 dB OSNR gain at 800 kHz phase noise
Effective noise compensation in tight time-packing systems
Improved phase noise resilience
Abstract
We propose a new scheme that combines polybinary transformaton and corrected-BPS to compensate noise for PDM-FTN-QPSK when its accelerated factor is 0.5,which has 3.3 dB OSNR gain when phase noise is 800 kHz.
