TL;DR
This paper investigates whether the $X(4140)$ state can be interpreted as the $ ext{chi}_{c1}(3P)$ charmonium state by analyzing its mass and decay properties within the $^3P_0$ model, addressing recent experimental uncertainties.
Contribution
It provides a theoretical analysis of the $X(4140)$ as a $ ext{chi}_{c1}(3P)$ state using the $^3P_0$ model, considering recent experimental data.
Findings
Supports the $ ext{chi}_{c1}(3P)$ interpretation based on decay properties.
Addresses the discrepancy in the width measurements of $X(4140)$.
Offers insights into the nature of the $X(4140)$ state.
Abstract
Recently, LHCb collaboration has confirmed the state , with a much larger width MeV than the previous experimental measurements, which has confused the understanding of its nature. We have investigated the possibility of the interpretation for the , considering the mass and the strong decay properties.
