Shahid Saeed Siddiqi, Abdul Rauf Nizami

TL;DR
This paper introduces a mathematical model for a surface formed by elliptical arcs connecting a regular polygon's sides to a central point, and calculates the volume of the resulting solid.
Contribution
It provides a new mathematical representation of a surface generated by elliptical arcs on a regular polygon and determines its volume.
Findings
Mathematical representation of the surface developed
Volume of the solid calculated
Surface formed by elliptical arcs analyzed
Abstract
This paper aims to develop the mathematical representation of a surface generated by elliptical arcs joining the sides of a regular polygon to a point lying vertically upward on the central axis of the polygon. The volume of the corresponding solid has also been determined.
