Nondiffracting gravitational waves
Felipe A. Asenjo, Sergio A. Hojman

TL;DR
This paper demonstrates that certain nondiffracting gravitational wave packets, including Airy wave-packets, are valid solutions to Einstein's equations, expanding the understanding of gravitational wave propagation.
Contribution
It proves that accelerating nondiffracting gravitational Airy wave-packets are solutions of linearized gravity and shows Airy functions are exact solutions for non-accelerating cases.
Findings
Accelerating nondiffracting gravitational Airy wave-packets are solutions of linearized gravity.
Airy functions are exact solutions to Einstein equations for non-accelerating wave-packets.
The work extends the theoretical framework of gravitational wave solutions.
Abstract
It is proved that accelerating nondiffracting gravitational Airy wave--packets are solutions of linearized gravity. It is also showed that Airy functions are exact solutions to Einstein equations for non--accelerating nondiffracting gravitational wave--packets.
