An Approximation of Forward Self-Similar solutions to the 3D Navier-Stokes system
Francis Hounkpe, Gregory Seregin

TL;DR
This paper constructs forward self-similar solutions to the 3D Navier-Stokes equations as singular limits of solutions to related parabolic systems, advancing understanding of their behavior.
Contribution
It introduces two new constructions of forward self-similar solutions to the 3D Navier-Stokes system via singular limits, a novel approach in the field.
Findings
Two constructions of self-similar solutions are developed.
Solutions are obtained as singular limits of parabolic systems.
The approach provides new insights into Navier-Stokes solutions.
Abstract
In this paper, we present two constructions of forward self-similar solutions to the D incompressible Navier-Stokes system, as the singular limit of forward self-similar solutions to certain parabolic systems.
