Ru-Min Wang, Xiao-Dong Cheng, Ying-Ying Fan, Jie-Lei Zhang, Yuan-Guo, Xu

TL;DR
This paper investigates radiative baryon decays across various baryon multiplets using SU(3) flavor symmetry, providing amplitude relations and predicting branching ratios to test the symmetry in future experiments.
Contribution
It applies the SU(3) flavor symmetry irreducible representation approach to analyze and relate decay amplitudes, offering predictions for branching ratios of multiple radiative baryon decays.
Findings
Amplitude relations are straightforward in some decay channels but complex in others due to quark antisymmetry.
Predicted branching ratios for various baryon radiative decays are provided.
Results can be tested in future experiments at BESIII, LHCb, and Belle-II.
Abstract
The weak and electromagnetic radiative baryon decays of octet , decuplet , single charmed anti-triplet and sextet , single heavy bottomed anti-triplet and sextet are investigated by using SU(3) flavor symmetry irreducible representation approach. We analyze the contributions from a single quark transition and exchange transitions, and find that the amplitudes could be easily related by SU(3) flavor symmetry in the weak radiative decays, weak radiative decays, weak decays, weak decays and electromagnetic decays. Nevertheless, the amplitude relations are a little complex in the and weak decays due to quark antisymmetry in and exchange contributions.…
