TL;DR
This paper predicts branching ratios, CP violations, and polarization fractions for $B_{d,s}^0 o f_1 f_1$ decays using perturbative QCD, highlighting the importance of annihilation diagrams and meson mixing effects.
Contribution
First prediction of observables for $B_{d,s}^0 o f_1 f_1$ decays in PQCD, including the impact of meson mixing and annihilation contributions.
Findings
Large branching ratios for $B_s^0 o f_1 f_1$ due to CKM enhancement.
Annihilation diagrams significantly affect decay observables.
Decay rates depend on the mixing angle $_1$, offering a way to constrain it.
Abstract
We investigate the decays in the framework of perturbative QCD(PQCD) approach with a referenced value . Here, denotes the axial-vector mesons and with mixing angle in the quark-flavor basis. The observables such as branching ratios, direct CP violations, and polarization fractions of the decays are predicted for the first time. We find that: (i) the almost pure penguin modes have large branching ratios in the order of due to the Cabibbo-Kobayashi-Maskawa enhancement and generally constructive interferences between the amplitudes of and with and being the quark-flavor states of mesons; (ii) The observables receive important contributions from the weak annihilation diagrams in…
