S. Shulha, D. Budkouski

TL;DR
This paper presents a methodology to measure the gluon jet fraction and analyze the characteristics of quark and gluon jets in hadron-hadron collisions, leveraging discriminators developed for LHC $pp$ collisions.
Contribution
It introduces a new methodology for measuring gluon jet fractions and jet characteristics in modern hadron colliders using existing quark-gluon jet discriminators.
Findings
Method enables measurement of gluon jet fractions in collider data.
Allows detailed comparison of quark and gluon jet properties.
Applicable to current and future hadron collider experiments.
Abstract
The discriminators of quark-gluon jets developed for collisions at the LHC can be used to measure the gluon jet fraction in a jet sample. It allows to measure various characteristics of the quark and gluon jets. The methodology of such measurements for modern hadron colliders is discussed.
