TL;DR
This paper investigates the decay processes of a double-beauty axial-vector tetraquark using QCD sum rules, providing predictions for decay widths and lifetimes to aid experimental searches.
Contribution
It introduces a detailed QCD sum rule analysis of semileptonic and nonleptonic decays of the $T_{bb}^{-}$ tetraquark, including new calculations of its spectroscopic parameters and decay widths.
Findings
Predicted partial decay widths for $T_{bb}^{-}$ decays.
Estimated lifetime of the $T_{bb}^{-}$ tetraquark.
Provided theoretical benchmarks for experimental detection.
Abstract
The semileptonic and nonleptonic decays of the double-beauty axial-vector tetraquark to a state (hereafter and , respectively) are investigated in the context of the QCD sum rule method. The final-state tetraquark is treated as an axial-vector particle built of a heavy axial-vector diquark and light scalar antidiquark . Its spectroscopic parameters are calculated using the two-points sum rules by taking into account contributions of quark, gluon and mixed condensates up to dimension . We study the dominant semileptonic and nonleptonic decays , where is one of the…
