TL;DR
This paper models unpolarized spin 1/2 baryonic deep inelastic scattering using an AdS/QCD approach with a deformed background, successfully matching experimental data for structure functions.
Contribution
It introduces a deformed AdS/QCD model with an exponential factor to incorporate anomalous dimensions, providing a novel theoretical framework for DIS structure functions.
Findings
Structure functions agree with experimental data
Deformed background captures anomalous dimensions
Model extends AdS/QCD applicability to large Bjorken x
Abstract
In this work we study unpolarized spin baryonic deep inelastic scattering (DIS) in the regime of large Bjorken parameter . We calculate the corresponding structure functions . Our approach is based on an AdS/QCD model with a deformed background, where we consider an exponential factor in the AdS metric. Such a deformation implies the introduction of an anomalous dimension in the model. Our results for the structure functions are consistent with those found in the literature from experimental data.
