TL;DR
This paper proposes a minimal extension to the Standard Model with three scalar fields to simultaneously explain the muon magnetic moment anomaly, dark matter relic abundance, and the Xenon-1T excess via inelastic dark scalar scattering.
Contribution
It introduces a simple scalar extension that unifies explanations for multiple anomalies and experimental observations in particle physics and cosmology.
Findings
Successfully accounts for muon g-2 anomaly
Reproduces dark matter relic abundance
Explains Xenon-1T excess through inelastic scattering
Abstract
A very economic scenario with just three extra scalar fields beyond the Standard Model is invoked to explain the muon anomalous magnetic moment, the requisite relic abundance of dark matter as well as the Xenon-1T excess through the inelastic down-scattering of the dark scalar.
