TL;DR
This paper reports precise measurements of the branching fractions for certain singly Cabibbo-suppressed decays of D mesons using BESIII data, improving previous results and providing first measurements for some decay modes.
Contribution
It provides the first measurement of the branching fraction for $D^+ o ho^+ ho^0$ and improves the precision of $D^0 o ho^0 ho^0$ measurements, enhancing understanding of charm decays.
Findings
Measured $ ext{Br}(D^0 o ho^0 ho^0)$ with improved precision.
First measurement of $ ext{Br}(D^+ o ho^+ ho^0)$.
Set an upper limit on $ ext{Br}(D^0 o ho^0 ho^0)$ at 90\% confidence level.
Abstract
Using 2.93 fb of collision data taken at a center-of-mass energy of 3.773 GeV by the BESIII detector at the BEPCII, we measure the branching fractions of the singly Cabibbo-suppressed decays to be and , where the first uncertainties are statistical and the second ones systematic. The statistical significances are and , respectively. The precision of is improved by a factor of 2.1 over the CLEO measurement, and is measured for the first time. No significant signal of is observed, and the upper limit on the branching fraction is…
