TL;DR
This paper offers a universal non-resonant explanation for the charmoniumlike structures $Z_c(3885)$ and $Z_c(4025)$, attributing them to reflection effects from $D_1(2420)$ in $e^+e^- o D^{(*)}ar{D}^*\pi$, challenging tetraquark interpretations.
Contribution
It introduces a non-resonant dynamical model explaining $Z_c$ structures as reflection effects, providing a new perspective distinct from tetraquark hypotheses.
Findings
$Z_c(3885)$ and $Z_c(4025)$ are reflections, not resonances.
The explanation is based on the behavior of $e^+e^- o D^{(*)}ar{D}^*\pi$.
The model can be tested by future experiments like BESIII and BelleII.
Abstract
Different from the usual tetraquark assignment to charged and charmoniumlike structures, in this letter we propose a universal non-resonant explanation to decode these 's, which is based on a special dynamical behavior of . Our study shows that and are only the reflection from the -wave charmed meson involved in . Obviously, the present work provides a unique perspective, which can be examined by future experiments like BESIII and BelleII.
