TL;DR
This paper summarizes recent advances in universal black holes, which are static solutions with isotropy-irreducible homogeneous bases applicable across various gravity theories in multiple dimensions.
Contribution
It highlights the construction of universal black hole solutions in arbitrary metric theories of gravity using isotropy-irreducible homogeneous spaces.
Findings
Universal black holes exist in multiple dimensions.
These solutions are valid in virtually any vacuum metric gravity theory.
The approach simplifies finding solutions across different theories.
Abstract
Recent results of arXiv:1907.08788 on universal black holes in dimensions are summarized. These are static metrics with an isotropy-irreducible homogeneous base space which can be consistently employed to construct solutions to virtually any metric theory of gravity in vacuum.
