TL;DR
This paper explores a model where a homogeneous tachyonic scalar field acts as dark energy, examining its coupling with matter and deriving the universe's scale factor and age based on this interaction.
Contribution
It introduces a specific coupling form between dark energy and matter using a tachyonic scalar field and derives related cosmological parameters.
Findings
Derived the functional form of the scale factor under the coupling assumption
Estimated the cosmic age for various coupling constants
Analyzed the impact of coupling strength on universe evolution
Abstract
We discuss the coupling between dark energy and matter by considering a homogeneous tachyonic scalar field as a candidate for dark energy. We obtained the functional form of scale factor by assuming that the coupling strength depends linearly on the Hubble parameter and energy density. We also estimated the cosmic age of the universe for different values of coupling constant.
