Resonance contributions $\phi(1020,1680)\to K\bar K$ for the three-body decays $B\to K\bar K h$
Ying-Ying Fan, Wen-Fei Wang

TL;DR
This paper investigates how intermediate states $\,phi(1020)$ and $\,phi(1680)$ contribute to three-body $B$ meson decays into kaon pairs and a hadron, using perturbative QCD to predict branching fractions and resonance effects.
Contribution
It introduces a method to incorporate $\,phi(1020)$ and $\,phi(1680)$ resonance contributions into the decay amplitude via kaon electromagnetic form factors, providing new quantitative predictions.
Findings
Branching fractions for $B o\,phi(1680)h$ are about 6-8% of $B o\,phi(1020)h$ decays.
Resonance contributions significantly affect the decay amplitudes and branching ratios.
Predictions are consistent with existing experimental data and offer guidance for future measurements.
Abstract
We study the contributions for the and originated from the intermediate states and in the charmless three-body decays , with , in the perturbative QCD approach. The subprocesses are introduced into the distribution amplitudes of system via the kaon electromagnetic form factors with the coefficients taken from the fitted results. The predictions of the branching fractions for the decays with the intermediate state decays into or are about - of the corresponding results for the quasi-two-body decays in this work.
