Gravitational dual of averaged free CFT's over the Narain lattice
Alfredo P\'erez, Ricardo Troncoso

TL;DR
This paper proposes a gravitational dual to averaged free CFTs over the Narain lattice, involving Einstein gravity with gauge fields and specific boundary conditions, connecting boundary currents to bulk configurations and black hole states.
Contribution
It introduces a gravitational dual with boundary conditions related to soft hair, linking averaged CFTs over the Narain lattice to Einstein gravity with gauge fields and a twisted Sugawara construction.
Findings
Boundary conditions relate gravitational and abelian theories.
Partition function can be computed via Chern-Simons or path integral.
BTZ black holes are naturally included.
Abstract
It has been recently argued that the averaging of free CFT's over the Narain lattice can be holographically described through a Chern-Simons theory for with a precise prescription to sum over three-dimensional handlebodies. We show that a gravitational dual of these averaged CFT's would be provided by Einstein gravity on AdS with gauge fields, endowed with a precise set of boundary conditions closely related to the "soft hairy" ones. Gravitational excitations then go along diagonal generators, so that the asymptotic symmetries are spanned by currents. The stress-energy tensor can then be geometrically seen as composite of these currents through a twisted Sugawara construction. Our boundary conditions are…
