TL;DR
This paper investigates the effective potential between revolving D-branes across various distances, using partial modular transformation, and discusses backreaction effects and the validity of the approach.
Contribution
It extends previous work by analyzing the potential for general p-branes over a wide distance range using a novel transformation technique.
Findings
Determined the potential shape for various p-branes.
Analyzed the potential behavior across different distance regimes.
Discussed backreaction effects and calculation validity.
Abstract
We continue to investigate the effective potential between a pair of D-branes revolving around each other by using the technique of developed in our previous work. We determine the shape of the potential for general for a wide range of regions interpolating smaller and larger distances than the string scale . We also discuss the backreaction of the D-brane system to the space-time metric and the validity of our calculations.
