TL;DR
This paper critiques the Clément-Gal'tsov approach to Smarr's mass formula with magnetic charge, highlighting inconsistencies and clarifying the origins of their results related to the NUT parameter.
Contribution
It provides a critical analysis of previous work, identifying overlooked references and physical inconsistencies in the treatment of magnetic charge and NUT parameter.
Findings
Identifies physical inconsistencies in Clément-Gal'tsov's approach.
Highlights unacknowledged prior work on Demiański-Newman solutions.
Clarifies the basis of results involving the NUT parameter.
Abstract
We comment on physical inconsistences of the Cl\'ement-Gal'tsov approach to Smarr's mass formula in the presence of magnetic charge. We also point out that the results of Cl\'ement and Gal'tsov involving the NUT parameter are essentially based on the known study (dating back to 2006) of the Demia\'nski-Newman solutions which was not cited by them.
