On a Gravity Dual to Flavored Topological Quantum Mechanics
Andrey Feldman

TL;DR
This paper extends the AdS2/CFT1 correspondence to include flavored topological quantum mechanics, providing a holographic dual for a protected sector of operators in 3d ABJM theory with fundamental hypermultiplets.
Contribution
It constructs a holographic dual for a flavored 1d quantum mechanics arising from D-brane intersections, generalizing previous models and connecting to M-theory in AdS4×S7/Zk.
Findings
Computed structure constants of the bulk gauge group.
Established a map between boundary observables and bulk fields.
Extended holographic duality to flavored topological sectors.
Abstract
In this paper, we propose a generalization of the correspondence constructed by Mezei, Pufu and Wang in \cite{MezeiPufuWang}, which is the duality between 2d Yang-Mills theory with higher derivatives in the background, and 1d topological quantum mechanics of two adjoint and two fundamental fields, governing certain protected sector of operators in 3d ABJM theory at the Chern-Simons level . We construct a holographic dual to a flavored generalization of the 1d quantum mechanics considered in \cite{MezeiPufuWang}, which arises as the effective field theory living on the intersection of stacks of D2-branes and D6-branes in the -background in Type IIA string theory, and describes the dynamics of the protected sector of operators in theory with fundamental hypermultiplets, having a…
