Tanay K. Dey, Subir Mukhopadhyay

TL;DR
This paper explores how higher derivative corrections and string clouds influence asymptotically AdS black hole solutions, analyzing their stability and implications for dual gauge theories through holography.
Contribution
It introduces new black hole solutions with string clouds and higher derivative corrections, and investigates their thermodynamic stability and holographic properties.
Findings
Three black hole solutions exist within certain parameter ranges.
Thermodynamic analysis reveals stability conditions for these solutions.
Holographic study shows effects on quark-antiquark potential and binding energy.
Abstract
We consider asymptotically AdS black hole solutions in presence of string clouds and higher derivative corrections. We find that it admits three black hole solutions within a region of the parameter space. In order to examine the stabilities of these solutions we consider a thermodynamic analysis. Using holography, we have studied the quark-antiquark distance and binding energy in the dual gauge theory.
