Oriented Convex Containers of Polygons -- II
R Nandakumar

TL;DR
This paper explores new types of oriented convex containers for polygons, including semicircles, circle segments, and sectors, expanding on previous work with isosceles triangles, rectangles, and ellipses.
Contribution
It introduces and analyzes additional oriented convex regions as containers for polygons, raising new questions and extending prior research.
Findings
Identified semicircles, circle segments, and sectors as potential oriented convex containers.
Extended previous classifications of oriented convex containers.
Raised open questions for further investigation.
Abstract
We define an 'oriented convex region' as a convex region with a direction of symmetry. An earlier article had touched upon isosceles triangles, rectangles and ellipses. Here, we examine some more possible oriented containers - semicircles, segments of circles and sectors - and raise some questions.
