Abdul Wahab, Shujaat Khan, and Farrukh Zeeshan Khan

TL;DR
This paper critiques the convergence analysis of a previous work on fractional adaptive algorithms for power signal modeling, highlighting issues with the mathematical justifications used.
Contribution
It provides a critical review of the convergence proof in the prior study, emphasizing the need for valid mathematical validation.
Findings
The original convergence proof lacks proper mathematical justification.
The critique underscores the importance of rigorous analysis in adaptive algorithms.
Highlights potential flaws in the previous convergence analysis.
Abstract
In this paper, some points to the convergence analysis performed in the paper [A new computing approach for power signal modeling using fractional adaptive algorithms, ISA Transactions 68 (2017) 189-202] are presented. It is highlighted that the way the authors prove convergence, suffers lack of correct and valid mathematical justifications.
