TL;DR
This paper introduces a new long-term challenge focused on improving speech recognition accuracy by developing methods to correct previous errors based on error analysis and correction techniques.
Contribution
It presents a novel challenge framework, dataset, and evaluation criteria for systematically addressing and correcting errors in speech recognition systems.
Findings
A new dataset for error correction in speech recognition
Evaluation criteria for error correction methods
Baseline results demonstrating the challenge's feasibility
Abstract
The paper announces the new long-term challenge for improving the performance of automatic speech recognition systems. The goal of the challenge is to investigate methods of correcting the recognition results on the basis of previously made errors by the speech processing system. The dataset prepared for the task is described and evaluation criteria are presented.
