Ming-Sheng Liu, Qi-Fang L\"u, Xian-Hui Zhong

TL;DR
This paper predicts the masses of triply charmed and bottom baryons using a nonrelativistic constituent quark model, and compares results with lattice QCD, also exploring their radiative decays.
Contribution
It provides new mass spectrum predictions for $ ext{Ω}_{ccc}$ and $ ext{Ω}_{bbb}$ baryons within a nonrelativistic quark model, extending previous work and including decay analysis.
Findings
Mass predictions agree with lattice QCD results.
Calculated radiative decay properties of the baryons.
Extended understanding of triply heavy baryon states.
Abstract
In this work, we study the mass spectrum of the and baryons up to the shell within a nonrelativistic constituent quark model (NRCQM). The model parameters are adopted from the determinations by fitting the charmonium and bottomonium spectra in our previous works. The masses of the and baryon states predicted in present work reasonably agree with the results obtained with the Lattice QCD calculations. Furthermore, to provide more knowledge of the and states, we evaluate their radiative decays with the available masses and wave functions from the potential model.
