The $\sigma$ and $\rho$ coupling constants for the charmed and beauty mesons
Hee-Jin Kim, Hyun-Chul Kim

TL;DR
This paper calculates the sigma and rho coupling constants for charmed and beauty mesons using correlated two-pion exchange models, compares results with lattice QCD, and discusses differences between charm and beauty sectors.
Contribution
It introduces a method to estimate meson coupling constants based on correlated two-pion exchange and extends the analysis to beauty mesons, providing new insights into heavy meson interactions.
Findings
Coupling constants for $DD$ and $D^*D^*$ interactions are estimated.
Results show larger coupling constants for $B$ and $B^*$ mesons compared to $D$ and $D^*$.
Comparison with lattice QCD and other models validates the approach.
Abstract
We investigate the and coupling constants for the and interactions, based on correlated exchange in the and interactions. Starting from the and amplitudes derived in the pseudophysical region () with the - and -wave correlations considered, we obtain the spectral functions for the and amplitude with correlated - and -wave exchanges. Using the pole approximation, we estimate the , , , and coupling constants. We extended phenomenologically the present results to the region in and compare them with those from lattice QCD. The results are also compared with those of other models. We also present the results of the , , , and…
