Dilip Kumar Ghosh, Wei-Shu Hou, Tanmoy Modak

TL;DR
This paper proposes a method to detect sub-TeV charged Higgs bosons at the LHC through specific production and decay channels, highlighting the role of extra top Yukawa couplings in the process.
Contribution
It introduces a novel search strategy for charged Higgs bosons involving extra top Yukawa couplings within the two Higgs Doublet Model at the LHC.
Findings
Potential evidence for charged Higgs at 300-500 GeV with current data.
Enhanced discovery prospects with upcoming LHC Run 3 data.
Implications for understanding matter-antimatter asymmetry.
Abstract
We suggest searching for the charged Higgs boson at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) via . In the general two Higgs Doublet Model, extra top Yukawa couplings and can drive the disappearance of antimatter from the Universe, while and couple with strength and , respectively. For and --500 GeV, evidence could emerge from LHC Run 2 data at hand, and discovery by adding Run 3 data in the near future.
