Top-quark double-differential distributions at approximate N$^3$LO
Nikolaos Kidonakis

TL;DR
This paper presents advanced calculations of top-quark distributions at approximate N$^3$LO, showing significant corrections and improved agreement with LHC data, thereby enhancing theoretical precision in top-quark physics.
Contribution
It provides the first approximate N$^3$LO predictions for top-quark double-differential distributions including NNLL resummation effects.
Findings
Large higher-order corrections observed.
Reduced theoretical uncertainties.
Good agreement with LHC measurements.
Abstract
I present results for top-quark double-differential distributions in transverse momentum and rapidity. Higher-order soft-gluon corrections from NNLL resummation are calculated through NLO. The corrections are large and they reduce theoretical uncertainties. The theoretical results are in good agreement with recent data from the LHC.
