Petr Bene\v{s}, Filip Blaschke

TL;DR
This paper develops effective Standard Model extensions supporting finite-mass Cho-Maison magnetic monopoles in the BPS limit, providing an exact solution and establishing a universal lower mass bound around 2.37 TeV.
Contribution
It introduces a class of models supporting finite-mass monopoles, offers an exact analytic solution, and derives a universal lower mass bound for the monopoles.
Findings
Exact analytic monopole solution in BPS limit
Universal lower mass bound of approximately 2.37 TeV
Extensions of the Standard Model supporting monopoles
Abstract
We construct a class of effective extensions of the Standard Model that support finite-mass Cho-Maison magnetic monopole in the Bogomol'nyi-Prasad-Sommerfield (BPS) limit. We present an example of exact analytic monopole solution and derive a universal lower mass bound of the Cho-Maison magnetic monopole.
