TL;DR
This paper provides an updated theoretical analysis of isospin-violating effects on the CP violation parameter '/ in kaon decays, incorporating improved quark mass data and nonperturbative inputs.
Contribution
It offers a refined calculation of isospin-breaking corrections to '/ using chiral perturbation theory with updated parameters, enhancing previous estimates.
Findings
Calculated '/ with isospin-breaking corrections.
Provided an updated value for '/: _{ ext{eff}}=0.110^{+0.090}_{-0.088}.
Assessed the impact of various theoretical ingredients on the correction.
Abstract
We present an updated analysis of isospin-violating corrections to in the framework of chiral perturbation theory, taking advantage of the currently improved knowledge on quark masses and nonperturbative parameters. The role of the different ingredients entering into the analysis is carefully assessed. Our final result is .
