TL;DR
This paper predicts a new heavy $K^*(4307)$ meson with hidden charm using three-body Faddeev equations, suggesting it as an exotic state that warrants experimental search in the heavy strange meson sector.
Contribution
The study provides a robust theoretical prediction of an exotic heavy $K^*$ meson with specific mass and decay properties, using the fixed-center approximation for the three-body system.
Findings
Predicted $K^*(4307)$ meson with mass ~4307 MeV and width ~18 MeV.
Identified $K^*(4307)$ as an exotic hidden charm meson with isospin 1/2.
Encouraged experimental efforts to detect this new heavy strange meson.
Abstract
We report on a robust prediction of heavy meson by solving the Faddeev equations with fixed-center approximation for the three-body system. As the excited Kaon state, is an exotic hidden charm meson with MeV and . We further performed the evaluation of the decay width of to the open two-body channels. We expect that the above findings inspire an experimental investigation of this exotic meson and to study the so far unexplored heavy strange meson sector.
