Riccardo Antonelli, Ehsan Hatefi

TL;DR
This paper investigates self-similar solutions in the Einstein-axion-dilaton system across various dimensions, revealing new solution families and employing a numerical approach to analyze their properties.
Contribution
It introduces a numerical framework for analyzing self-similar axion-dilaton configurations and uncovers new solution families in different conjugacy classes of SL(2,R).
Findings
Discovered new families of solutions in four and five dimensions.
Validated the numerical formalism across multiple spacetime dimensions.
Identified solutions in all three conjugacy classes of SL(2,R).
Abstract
We explore self-similar collapse solutions to the Einstein-axion-dilaton system in arbitrary spacetime dimensions, which are invariant under spacetime dilation combined with internal transformations. We set up a numerical formalism, and test it in four and five dimensions, discovering several new families of solutions in the three conjugacy classes of .
