Transverse momentum broadening from the lattice
Guy D. Moore, Niels Schlusser

TL;DR
This paper nonperturbatively calculates the transverse momentum broadening of high-energy particles in EQCD at multiple temperatures, providing continuum-extrapolated results relevant for understanding quark-gluon plasma behavior.
Contribution
It introduces a nonperturbative lattice calculation of transverse momentum broadening in EQCD across various temperatures, extending previous perturbative approaches.
Findings
Results are continuum-extrapolated at four temperatures.
Provides data relevant for high-energy particle interactions in quark-gluon plasma.
Extends understanding of momentum broadening beyond perturbative methods.
Abstract
We present a calculation of the transverse momentum broadening of a high-energy fundamental-representation particle, as calculated nonperturbatively within EQCD using the technique proposed by Caron-Huot and pioneered by Panero, Sch\"afer, and Rummukainen. Our results are continuum extrapolated and provided at four temperatures: 250 MeV, 500 MeV, 1 GeV, and 100 GeV.
