TL;DR
This paper analyzes cross-correlators of conserved charges in QCD using lattice simulations and HRG models, comparing results with experimental data to understand hadronic contributions and their dependence on chemical potential.
Contribution
It introduces a hadronic proxy for specific correlator ratios and compares lattice and experimental results, providing insights into hadronic effects in QCD.
Findings
Lattice and HRG models agree on hadronic contributions
Constructed a proxy for correlator ratios
Compared lattice results with STAR experimental data
Abstract
We present cross-correlators of QCD conserved charges at from lattice simulations and perform a Hadron Resonance Gas (HRG) model analysis to break down the hadronic contributions to these correlators. We construct a suitable hadronic proxy for the ratio and discuss the dependence on the chemical potential and experimental cuts. We then perform a comparison to preliminary STAR results and comment on a possible direct comparison of lattice and experiment.
