Eberhard B\"ansch, Sara Faghih-Naini, Pedro Morin

TL;DR
This paper investigates the mathematical existence of solutions for a stationary convective transport model in nanofluids, incorporating thermophoretic effects, to deepen understanding of heat and mass transfer behaviors.
Contribution
It provides a rigorous mathematical analysis of the stationary problem in nanofluid convective transport models with thermophoretic effects, extending prior models.
Findings
Existence of solutions established under certain conditions
Mathematical framework applicable to thermophoretic nanofluid models
Insights into stationary heat and mass transfer in nanofluids
Abstract
We analyze the existence of solutions to the stationary problem from a mathematical model for convective transport in nanofluids including thermophoretic effects that is very similar to the celebrated model of Buongiorno [6].
