Clay Cordova, G. Bruno De Luca, Alessandro Tomasiello

TL;DR
This paper explores new ten-dimensional supergravity solutions with de Sitter factors involving orientifold planes, analyzing their singularities and boundary conditions, and relating them to known supersymmetric AdS solutions.
Contribution
It generalizes previous solutions to include O8$_+$ and O6$_-$ planes, providing a broader class of de Sitter solutions in string theory.
Findings
New solutions with O8$_+$ and O6$_-$ planes identified.
Detailed analysis of O8$_-$ singularities and boundary conditions.
Connection established between non-supersymmetric and supersymmetric solutions.
Abstract
In previous work, we found ten-dimensional solutions to the supergravity equations of motion with a dS factor and O8-planes. We generalize this analysis and obtain other solutions in the same spirit, with an O8 and an O6. We examine our original solutions in more detail, focusing in particular on the O8 singularities and on the issues created by their boundary conditions. We also point out some previously known supersymmetric AdS solutions with the same local behavior at their O8 singularity.
