$K^{*}(892)^0$ production in p+p interactions from NA61/SHINE
Angelika Tefelska (for the NA61/SHINE Collaboration)

TL;DR
This paper reports on the measurement of $K^*(892)^0$ resonance production in proton-proton collisions at CERN, providing detailed spectra across various energies to enhance understanding of resonance behavior in high-energy physics.
Contribution
The study presents the first detailed measurements of $K^*(892)^0$ production in p+p interactions across a range of energies using the NA61/SHINE spectrometer, employing the template method for analysis.
Findings
Double differential spectra $d^2 n/(dydp_T)$ and $d^2 n/(m_T dm_T dy)$ obtained.
Inclusive $dn/dy$ spectra provided for different energies.
Results contribute to understanding resonance production in high-energy collisions.
Abstract
The measurement of resonance production via its decay mode in inelastic p+p collisions at beam momenta 40--158 GeV/c (=8.8--17.3 GeV) is presented. The data were recorded by the NA61/SHINE hadron spectrometer at the CERN Super Proton Synchrotron. The analysis of was done with the template method. The results include the double differential spectra , as well as dn/dy spectra.
