TL;DR
This paper introduces almost monomial groups, a broader class of finite groups related to monomial groups, and explores their connection with Artin L-functions using methods inspired by monomial group theory.
Contribution
It generalizes the concept of monomial groups to almost monomial groups and investigates their relationship with Artin L-functions.
Findings
Almost monomial groups form a new class extending monomial groups.
The study reveals structural similarities with monomial groups.
Connections with Artin L-functions are established.
Abstract
We study a class of finite groups, called almost monomial groups, which generalize the class of monomial groups and it is connected with the theory of Artin L-functions. Our method of research is based on finding similarities with the theory of monomial groups, whenever it is possible.
