Evidence for electroweak production of two jets in association with a $Z\gamma$ pair in $pp$ collisions at $\sqrt{s} = 13$ TeV with the ATLAS detector
ATLAS Collaboration

TL;DR
This paper reports evidence for the electroweak production of two jets with a Zγ pair in proton-proton collisions at 13 TeV, using ATLAS data, measuring the cross-section and confirming Standard Model predictions.
Contribution
First measurement of electroweak Zγ production with two jets at 13 TeV, providing evidence and a cross-section consistent with the Standard Model.
Findings
Electroweak Zγjj production observed with 4.1σ significance.
Measured cross-section of 7.8 ± 2.0 fb agrees with predictions.
Analysis used 36.1 fb⁻¹ of ATLAS data from 2015-2016.
Abstract
Evidence for electroweak production of two jets in association with a pair in TeV protonproton collisions at the Large Hadron Collider is presented. The analysis uses data collected by the ATLAS detector in and that corresponds to an integrated luminosity of . Events that contain a boson candidate decaying leptonically into either or , a photon, and two jets are selected. The electroweak component is measured with observed and expected significances of standard deviations. The fiducial cross-section for electroweak production is measured to be , in good agreement with the Standard Model prediction.
