TL;DR
This paper defends previous findings on the ground state of the J1-J2 Heisenberg model, clarifying that critiques about boundary conditions do not invalidate their conclusion of a gapless spin liquid state.
Contribution
The authors clarify that their original results on the J1-J2 model's ground state are robust against boundary condition critiques, reaffirming the gapless spin liquid phase.
Findings
Their argument about boundary conditions does not invalidate the gapless spin liquid conclusion.
The original definition of dimer orders remains valid for their analysis.
The reply clarifies the robustness of their previous results.
Abstract
In a recent comments [arXiv:1909.12788 (2019)], Zhao et al. argue that the definition of dimer orders used in our paper [Phys. Rev. B 98, 241109 (2018)] may not rule out valence bond solid (VBS) orders of - model on the open boundary conditions (OBC). In this reply, we show that their argument does not apply to our case.
