TL;DR
This paper estimates the axial-vector meson exchange contribution to the muon g-2 using a nonlocal quark model, finding a smaller value than previous estimates, which impacts the understanding of hadronic light-by-light effects.
Contribution
It provides a novel calculation of axial-vector meson contributions to muon g-2 within a nonlocal quark model, challenging prior estimates.
Findings
a1 meson contribution: 0.34 x 10^(-11)
f1 meson contribution: 0.34 x 10^(-11)
results are smaller than Melnikov-Vainshtein estimate
Abstract
The light-by-light contribution from the axial-vector (AV) mesons exchanges to the muon anomalous magnetic moment is estimated in the framework of the nonlocal chiral quark model. The preliminary answer for contributions from a1 and f1 mesons to (g-2)_mu is 0.34 x 10^(-11) and does not support the Melnikov-Vainshtein estimate 2.2 x 10^(-11).
