Optimal Paired Comparison Block Designs
Eric Nyarko

TL;DR
This paper presents new methods for constructing optimal paired comparison block designs under the main effects model and compares them to existing designs.
Contribution
It introduces novel design construction methods for paired comparison experiments and evaluates their performance against existing approaches.
Findings
New design methods outperform some existing designs
Design efficiency is improved under the main effects model
Comparative analysis shows advantages of the proposed methods
Abstract
For paired comparison experiments involving competing options described by two-level attributes several different methods of constructing designs having block paired observations under the main effects model are presented. These designs are compared to alternative designs available in the literature.
