Orr Sela, Gabi Zafrir

TL;DR
This paper explores dualities in 4d Spin(n) gauge theories, constructs models with IR symmetry enhancement, and conjectures 6d origins for these phenomena through compactification, supported by consistency checks.
Contribution
It introduces a new sequence of models with IR symmetry enhancement and proposes 6d theories whose compactification explains these features.
Findings
Identification of dualities leading to symmetry enhancement
Construction of models with IR symmetry enhancement
Conjecture of 6d origins for 4d phenomena
Abstract
We consider a known sequence of dualities involving theories with gauge groups and use it to construct a new sequence of models exhibiting IR symmetry enhancement. Then, motivated by the observed pattern of IR symmetries we conjecture six-dimensional theories the compactification of which on a Riemann surface yields the sequence of models along with their symmetry enhancements, and put them to several consistency checks.
