Spin Nematic Liquids of the $S=1$ Spin Ladder in Magnetic Field
T\^oru Sakai, Kiyomi Okamoto

TL;DR
This paper investigates the magnetization process of an $S=1$ spin ladder system, revealing the emergence of a field-induced spin nematic liquid phase through numerical exact diagonalization and phase diagram analysis.
Contribution
It provides new numerical evidence and phase diagrams for the field-induced spin nematic liquid phase in $S=1$ spin ladders, expanding understanding of quantum magnetic phases.
Findings
Identification of the spin nematic liquid phase in the phase diagram.
Ground-state phase diagrams mapped in the anisotropy-field plane.
Confirmation of previous predictions about the nematic phase.
Abstract
The magnetization process of the spin ladder system is investigated using the numerical exact diagonalization of finite-size clusters. The field-induced spin nematic liquid phase was predicted to appear by our previous work. Several ground-state phase diagrams in the plane of the single-ion anisotropy and the external magnetic field are obtained in the present study.
